Ashlynne’s Christmas Outfit is Finished!

I’ve spent the whole weekend working on this and I’ve finally finished it. I do still need to add a gingerbread man to the hat but otherwise the outfit is done!! She will wear this for Christmas Wear in a pageant thanksgiving weekend and then I will make another outfit just like it for Alyssa and it will be their christmas outfits this year.

All items were made with ebooks from http://youcanmakethis.com except the hat (though they have an awesome ebook for that too).
Ebooks used:

Shirt: Portrait Peasant Tops & Dresses by the Fabulous Carla C Dolly Designs
Apron: How To Make A Childs Apron by Erin’s Designs
Pants: Ruffled Capris & Pants: Sizes 1-2-3 by You Can Make This

And they even have a Chef hat ebook ~ FREE!! (Wish I had seen it before buying one, but thats ok, I’ll need to make Alyssa one)
Chef Hat Ebook here

I’d love to hear what you think so leave a comment & let me know! Thanks!

I’ve Been Picked =)

As many of you know, when I’m not taking pictures I love to sew and craft things. Well when one of my favorite sites, You Can Make This, announced a challenge I of course had to sign up =) I was lucky enough to be picked as one of the 50 participants in the “Thrifty Under $50″ challenge. I will be making many of the Christmas gifts I will be giving this year to friends and family, and I’ve got to try to do it in under $50. I will be posting my progress here on the blog and perhaps I can inspire some of you to make christmas gifts this year!

Be sure to visit www.youcanmakethis.com, they have fabulous ebook patterns and idea’s to bring out the crafty (and thrifty) person in all of us! They have tons to choose from for beginners and pros alike!
